IVIG with Dr. Braverman
Hi Everyone,
Im doing my second IVF with Dr. Braverman and instead of doing intralilpids Im doing IVIG. I was told my insurance will not cover it. Im wondering how you felt after it. I was told I would have flu like symptoms after and to drink alot of water before hand. Im going to try and get it done on Saturday so I can relax on Sunday. How was the nurse that came over to administer it? I had a wonderful man who did my intralipids and Im nervous about this process. Did you get pregnant during that cycle?

I did it and I felt fine. Definitely drink.
I had to do two infusions back to back Saturday and Sunday. Shot my weekend for sure.
I used a home care company through Trinity Home Care. Off hand I forgot the agency name but I had nurse Nancy and she was great.
If you call Trinity you should be able to find out the agency name.

I get IVIG every month for an autoimmune issue I have!! Sometimes I get a slight headache two days after the treatments. Otherwise I am fine!! Best of luck to you!!!
