January Bulletin Board Ideas for Grade K?

Hi Everyone,
Is everyone enjoying their vacation like I am??


I sooo needed a break!


Anyway...every grade is responsible for a monthly bulletin board in the lobby of my school.

Any ideas for grade K???

I used to do "Hats Off to the New Year" The kids made party hats out of construction paper and they wrote their new years resolution.

boy i miss kindergarten......

We did a mini one outside my room last year (it was taped to the wall though not an actual bd persay) where we read a book (it was a mini-book for them to take home) called Snow Zoo and then they used sponges cut into shapes to create their own snow animals and we titled them "This is my snow_____" - they loved it and it was so cute....once we took it down, we turned it into a class book for our library!

Penguins are always cute (Ever read the Tackey the Penguin series?), or party hats with die cut 2009's glued on them after they have been painted, glittered/etc, or even snowmen glyphs....
