January MOmmies ...any updates?

Hi Mommies!

Just came back from another appointment. I got my Scheduled C-section Date- 1/6/09! Most of you know that I am delivering at 36 1/2 weeks and not 40 because of a previous myomectomy surgery. I cannot believe that it is right around the corner!

They measured my belly and told me that the baby is measuring large and I should find out next week the estimated baby weight! My gestational diabetes levels are great and I can now take the blood samples every other day. The pricks do hurt after while!

How is everyone else doing?

ETA: I maintained my weight for about a month now...thanks to my GD diet!

Im good! I have an appointment on Tuesday just to check things out. The baby was 3lbs 14oz at my growth sono and breech. This was at 31 weeks.

Feeling good.. heartburn is still horrid, but other than that, I really cant complain. I was still only up 7lbs at my visit last week, but I think I have gained 2 more since.

My shower is TOMORROW and my furniture should be in by Monday so I need to calla nd set up a delivery date for that!

Feeling good. I had my growth sono today at 32 weeks baby is measuring 4 1/2 pounds and is breech. I am praying he turns around I have so much heartburn. The sono tech said my baby has so much hair they normally cant see this until 37 weeks.

my due date was changed from 1/6 to 1/2

i have been on bedrest for 2 weeks now with lots of cramping and pressure
when i went on 11/11 I was 80% effaced

then i want last saturday and was the same
NO dilation and NO contractions

I go back tomorrow

HOw much weight has everyone gained?

Hi! I'm doing good. Had the hospital tour at Winthrop last night, and my growth sono last week. He is 4lbs. and was breech but when I went to the doctor for my appointment two days later she checked and he had turned. I thought the sono girl was kind of weird so she may have just been wrong but either way I'm very happy. Now we just have to get going on the nursery

I'll be 32 weeks on Monday. I am REALLLLYY UNCOMFORTABLE!!!!!!!!!
It's getting hard to sleep at night. My belly is humongous, I feel like a stuffed turley. It hurts to bend/tie my shoes, wash my legs, etc...
I've been getting little waves of nausia here and there, nothing severe but def. annoying. My nursery hasn't even gotten started. I'm just CRANKY!!!!!

Excited.

Go for growth sono on Monday. So curious to hear weight and see the little man. I think he is breech b/c the movement is so low. Today I feel a lot of pressure/big movements, like he is turning or yawning - not little jabs. Or, are they BH?

GD diet is going well. I have a f/u a week from today, but my levels have been well below what they want them to be, so I hope I can also move to the every other day testing, as testing at work is so inconvenient.

Last visit (appx 28 weeks) I gained 19 lbs. Doc was happy, but B!tch nutritionist thought too much for someone "my size".

Shower was last weekend, and we're getting ready to get room painted so baby items can move in.

30 weeks today and its starting to feel so close!!

I can't believe it's getting so close!!!

I have my growth sono next Wed, but otherwise all has been going smooth

My little is preventing me from sleeping well, I just can't get comfortable, even with the whole bed to myself - DH offers to sleep on the couch

Going to the bathroom, getting in and out of the car, shaving, walking upstairs, etc are all becoming major chores

I'm glad the holidays are coming because I think they'll keep me busy and before I know it - it will be Jan

Other than my job situation, I'm alright. I'm 32 weeks today and Miss Shaylie is always on the move. I had my f/u regarding the GD and the dr was happy with my progress, except when I take my blood when I wake up, its always high, so starting tonight, I'll take the insulin shot right before bed. I have to take it every night before bed. I lost more weight and actually my bp was lower than I expected which surprised the hell out of me. Shaylie weighs almost 4 lbs - actually 3 lbs 14oz. I can't stand for long periods because it feels like I have an elephant on my chest. I can't bend down, my back has been bothering me. I walk like a turtle. Just the joys of pregnancy. I go back to my ob tomorrow.

Glad to hear everyone is doing WELL!!!!

So far, I have gained 14 lbs.

Curious- How many of you got the flu shot? I am contemplating.

Well, I spent 3 days in the hospital last week due to preterm contractions. I'm still having them, but my cervix isn't changing and my FFN was neg. I'm on bed rest now, and go back to the doctor on Tuesday for another FFN and sono.
Both babies were 3.1 lbs last week while I was at the hospital and I've gained about 25 lbs.

I got the flu shot a couple of months ago.

hmm...Im really not all that uncomfortable. I am not sleeping at night but that is because I get up to pee constantly and have severe heartburn. I'm still bopping around in dresses and boots and am overall feeling well... anyone else?

I'll be 33 weeks Tuesday when I go for my appointment and am this little baby has turned.

hi January mommies!!

all is well with me...i'm one of the heavy weights this month, lol i've deffff gained more than necessary! something like 40lbs i'd say!

everything went well with our move to IL, thank goodness. i met with a new OB and while he is very cool, he won't do a sono unless medically necessary so i won't be having a growth sono kinda bummed, but what can ya do. at my last appt (32 weeks) he said the baby was on the smaller side and head down i got for my next appt on monday and then after that it's every week.

OMG i can't believe we're soooo close!! how freaking EXCITING!!!!

bending over, moving around after a meal, getting out of bed, all becoming more and more difficult... i've noticed the waddle here and there i can't believe it!

i didnt get the flu shot, i really REALLY hope to not need it!

we're almost there January mommies!! one more month and then it's our TURN!!!!

ugh - i was feeling great until 2 weeks ago
i have SEVERE pelvic / hip pain where it hurts to walk, get out of bed, turn in bed, etc

dr. said i have SPD - which is a softening of the ligaments and very painful
im taking tylenol but it doesnt do much

I have gained 7lbs so far. This Wed is my next obgyn appt, so I'll update this because I'm sure that I've gained a few this month.

Other than the sciatica and severe heartburn, I feel really energetic and pretty good overall. The nursery is finished and dh worked like crazy these last few months to get everything in order. My nesting is crazier than ever - I still find the need to go through closets and dump everything I can find. I hope I don't regret tossing anything after I have the baby!

Anyway, great to see everyone is doing well!
