January mommies to be... let's update!

It's our month!! Congrats to all those who have already become mommies this month! Those of us who are left- how are we all doing?
I'll be 39 weeks on Sunday. As of this past Wednesday, I am just about completely effaced, but no dilation yet. I feel great, just feeling increased pressure on the hooha/groin/bladder area. Nursery is just about done- only a little decorating left to do. Still have to wash baby's clothes, finish packing hospital bag, install car seat, and get the house clean. I think that's about it for me. What's going on with everyone else??

38wks today, been contracting on and off for the last month but nothing regular obviously. At my 37.5wk appt I was 1cm, no effacement but cervix was softening and baby had dropped. My midwife gave me the go ahead to take some evening primose oil as well as drink some raspberry leaf to help things along which I think has been helping me loose my mucous plug. At my next appt they will discuss scheduling an induction date since I'm gestational diabetic, really hoping not to make that appointment though! Only 2 more days of work for me then I'm putting my feet up till this baby comes. Bags are packed, clothes are washed just waiting......

I've had a few posts in the past week about the roller coaster we've been on with blood pressure and amniotic fluid - but as of right now I'm 37 weeks 1 day - as of Wed - cervix still closed, 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. Have been very slowly losing my mucus plug since the 1st but not every day and no bloody show. Car seat bases installed last week, furniture FINALLY comes tomorrow - can't decorate nursery really until baby comes because we're team green. Have to get blinds for nursery window and closet system. Started washing clothes last Friday in a panic when I though I was going to have baby - but realize that I need so many more! Had bad (not regular) contractions last Friday but nothing at all regular since then.

I'll be 39 weeks on Monday... And as of my appt today - I'm a full cm dilated (as opposed to a "fingertip" last week) and still 50% effaced. The pressure is out of control! It hurts to turn over in bed, so my right hip is sore - cuz that's my only comfy place... To walk is becoming more of a chore. It feels like I have a softball between my legs. So, to help with the pressure and *possibly* bring DS down the chute a little quicker, I've been rockin' and rollin' and bouncin' on my exercise ball since last Wednesday... I'm hoping that that had something to do with the increased dilation.
My dr gave us the option to be induced next Friday (1/16)... but my due date is the following Tuesday (1/19), so I think I'm going to wait it out and see if he wants to come on his own... 'cuuuuuz if he doesn't, I have to be induced the next Saturday (1/23). What are a couple of more days??

DH and I just finished the nursery. All the clothes are washed and put away, EVERYTHING baby related has been put together that we will need in the next 3-4 months.

We are SO ready for this LO to make his debut... just playing the waiting game.

I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow. Although I need more time to get ready I am soooo done. My heartburn/reflux is unbearable on a daily basis. That's really my biggest complaint. I'm also getting really nervous about being away from DS for such a long period of time. I've never been away from him before

6 days till my due date!! I'm sooo ready. Just need to wash a few clothes and blankets and we are ready to roll!
Only 1/2 cm dilated and a little effaced. If shes not here by Mon 1/18 I'm going in to be induced. Praying she'll come soon. Having on and off contractions, nothing regular...tons of pressure..Good luck to all the Jan moms!

38 and a half weeks here.. READY TO GO.. Going to try everything to get this baby out.

almost fully effaced but no dilation as of yet.

ear infection is just about gone so i'm READY!!

going to start my squats and bding as much as possible !!

I will be 38 weeks on Tuesday & nothing is going on.. nothing at all so next weekend I will be working on getting him out.

I'm 39 weeks. I had my last ob appt on Wed and no progress whatsoever. All week I've been trying to eat all the labor inducing foods and today I walked a little to go shopping but nothing. I'm having crazy contractions but nothing that gets stronger or lasts longer than an hour. I decided to take it easy tonight and tomorrow since my c/s is Monday. I'd rather go when ready and scheduled than 1 day earlier. Other than the normal symptoms at the end, (lots of weird movement, pressure, pain down there) I've been good. Oh sleeping is terrible lately but I think I'm getting used to it lol. Good Luck to everyone and hope you have a good last few weeks!

I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow. Had a little progress, cervix is shortening and a finger tip dilated, but that's all. Pressure down tehre and contractsions for the past 3 weeks. Furniture comes Tues. and need to wash clothes. Car seat installed Mon. Still a bit to do, but I think I have some time still.

I'm 39 weeks and a day. Yesterday was my last day at the office so I'm grateful for that - this last week was really a struggle - my energy levels dropped tremendously and my discomfort increased quite a bit (I think dropped). I skipped the internal at my visit this past week but the week before I was a fingertip dilated. Nursery's not ready yet, but at least my furniture is in so I'm going to schedule delivery for this week and she'll be in a bassinet in our room for awhile so it's not a big deal that her room's not ready anyway. Still have a bunch more little things to do and my kitchen is being remodeled but we're making progress and actually doing ok. Also, I'm feeling much less stressed about what's not done than I have been in weeks - I think not working anymore took a huge load off.

hi girls... i've been stalking mostly, but i'm expecting a january baby... i'm due the 18th but we are inducing me on thursday b/c the baby is getting a little too big.. i'm hope you are all feeling well!!

I had an appointment today and absolutely no changes. The doctor thinks I have at least another week or 2. I came back Strep + which I was surprised, I was - with my DD. Blood pressure is great, no swelling at all this pregnancy but Im just so tired and miserable.
