JCP pics - Surise Mall vs. Roosevelt Field
Does it make a difference? Did anyone have a good/bad experience at one or the other?

I had the worst experience at sunrise during Christmas. The people were rude, didn't help to get the kids attention to look at the camera, they were over an hour behind, I did not get 1 pic. Horrible!
But I loved the jcp in CT where I lived so it really depends on the people working.

I had a terrible experience at the Roosevelt field location. we went on the weekend. my friend went during the week and it was better for her

We just went last Tuesday to the Roosevelt Field location and we loved it much more than the Queens location! First off, they were going straight by appointments and they didn't overbook. They also had a dressing/changing room which was great. The two ladies working that day were very friendly and really engaged DS for pics, whereas at the Queens location they just make a couple of sounds and wait for the kid to look at the camera  lol.
Also the picture selection process was easier IMO since they let us choose instead of standing over us hovering and doing all the clicking like they do at the Queens location.
Now, I can't tell you what it's like on a weekend at the Roosevelt Field location, but during the week (and during a non rush time, like non-holiday) was a great experience.

Oh and we opted to have the pics mailed to us (paid for shipping) and we received them on Saturday! We took the pics late on Tuesday! So that was way faster than I expected!

I went to Bayshore once, itw as fine. I think my pics were good.
They had a motor cycle prop and DS was looking at it - he didn't want to look up at the camera. He was 3.
Sears is closer to me - that's why I didn't go back.

We decided on Roosevelt Field... so we can also go to the disney store and bobby's burger palace  it is the fri before easter but they have a lot of appts open so hopefully it won't be too bad!
