Jeans Spinoff - Prices

Marshalls has seriously spoiled me. I dont really like to spend more than $30 on a pair of jeans. The most I've ever spent on a pair of jeans was $58 on a pair of Gap Long and Leans like 10 years ago. Right now I'm wearing a pair of black Michael Kors skinnies that I got at Marshalls for $24.99!

Re: Jeans Spinoff - Prices

I can't buy jeans in Marshall's or any of those discount places because they general don't have long lengths.
I wear a 34 inch inseam.
I generally buy jeans from VS online.
They are about $60

I'm 4'11 so finding jeans that fit right is a chore. I don't wear them very often so I buy really good ones and they last a long time. The last pair I bought were Page and were on sale. So I spent about $125 on them. Very well worth it!

For staple jeans, boot cut, a skinny leg, etc, I'll spend decent money. I usually stick with Sevens or AG for those. I feel like they fit me the best and really wear well. For trendier pieces, colored leggings, print, etc. the cheaper the better.

I bought a pair of colored leggings jeans from American Eagle this season that are fast favorite!! They are the first pair of leggings jeans I'm not constantly hiking up!

I voted 50-99 because I typically buy $$$ designer jeans but from a place like saks outlet or nordstrom rack so I pay less than full price for them. Although, one of my favorite pairs of jeans was $20 from forever 21

$50 or less.

But usually $35 or less.

I love jeans and don't have much trouble finding pairs that fit me well. I also don't really "dress up" jeans so that's probably another reason why I don't spend much on them...for me, they ain't fancy clothes, they're knock-around, regular, weekend, bar-hopping, concert-going wear.

I wear the Mossimo jeans from Target. Also their Denizen (Levi's I think) line. They look great!

Me too.

I was so pissed too, I finally splurged and picked up myself a pair of gap jeans a few months ago and they SUCK. They are nice like the first 4 hours I have them on and then they stretch out SO bad.

Most of my jeans are from NY&Co when they have the BOGO sale.

Re: Jeans Spinoff - Prices

From $15 well into the hundreds. I think that as soon as you get past about $25-$30 you don't really sacrifice a lot in terms of quality or style but sometimes it's just worth a lot more for the perfect pair.

Now to remember the last time I really saw any for $15. Ok, so maybe the prices start at about $19.99.

I've bought designer jeans and I've bought really cheap jeans (from places like Joyce Leslie). My favorite tend to be low- mid-range; my favorite jeans are from NY&Co and Abercrombie.

Re: Jeans Spinoff - Prices

Sadly, I don't even consider price. My first concern is inseam length, followed by fit. I've tried cheap to premium and premium always seems to flatter me the best. Basically I scour websites, look at the inseam length and reviews (hoping customers thought they were long or preferably "too long" Chat Icon), then order them with my fingers crossed.

I've paid over $300 and I would say most of my denim ranges from $180-$250. Again, if I could walk into Gap, Express or the like and felt their denim flattered me, I'd buy it, but either they're just too short or don't work for my figure. So I find myself gravitating towards J Brand, True Religion, Hudson, 7FAM, AG and DL1961.

Heck, it kills me that I had to spend $$$ on maternity denim. I tried cheaper options like Old Navy and Gap but they just looked horrible on me. Chat Icon

I have a few pairs of Joe's Jeans that I've gotten on sale, ranging from $79-100 (sale price).
I also discovered Jessica Simpson jeans that I love but stretch out after one wear.
I'll spend up to $200 for a good pair, to me it's worth the investment.

Re: Jeans Spinoff - Prices

I only wear jeans maybe once on the weekend so definitely the cheaper the better.

I know we tend to hate them, but I do okay at Old Navy. I always buy the jeans that are on their clearance racks.

I also go back and forth with my weight so I don't feel bad donating these if they don't fit right the following season.

The best jeans I have are the pricier ones. I prefer 7FAM and Joe's Jeans. The less expensive brands always stretch too much and I'm hiking them up ALL.the.time. I've sworn off AE jeans and Gap because of this.

ETA: I've bought premium brands for about 50% off any Off 5th. Currently loving a dark pair of Joe's Jeans skinnies bought for $80 in early 2012 (now that it's fall and I'm not pregnant!).
