Free food brings out the worst in people. I thought that would end after college, but sadly, I have been proven wrong on many occasions - case in point, the sample people at Costco on Saturday morning.

That's funny that you say that. I cooked for my dh's side of the family the other day. They attacked it like they've never had food before. I hardly got a plate it myself.

You know what? In my office it always seems to be the same people...yes they have already eaten lunch AND they are no where near the kitchen. How do they know its there is what I want to know!!!

OMG so do we. We have bagels every Friday morning and no sooner do I put the leftovers down then I get 10 people from the other side of the building coming to attack. I think they call each other and are like OK they're coming out with the bagels....Run...

When we have clients/vendors in the office there is usually a sign that says welcome in front... So people always know to go check the break room for leftovers.
