jewelry - white gold yellowing?
I've had my white gold e-ring since 10/05 and my wedding band since 10/06... tonight when I went to clean them I noticed that they are starting to yellow... it's not consistent - it's like a half circle where my pinky and middle finger must rub against them the most...
in any event, I didn't realize this would happen so quickly... what do I do?? Is getting them dipped in rhodium the answer? how much does this cost? how often do I have to do this? please advise! :)

It happens faster for some people than others, based on your body chemistry and how it reacts with the metal.
You can take it to a jewler and have them dipped. When I had a ring dipped it was about 50 bucks. And eventually you'll have to do it again. But on the plus side, your rings will look shiny and new again.

I've noticed this also with my e-ring, and the jeweler said exactly the same thing re. body chemistry. He suggested getting it re-dipped every year. I haven't done it yet, so I don't know how much he'll charge.

I just get mine dipped, and they come out all nice and new looking.

It is funny bc I noticed this last night on my Ering the most. I told DH this should not be happening (I have it since 4/04). I guess I will go this weekend & see if I can get them both dipped.

Re: jewelry - white gold yellowing?
yup... this happens to mine too. i've been married for almost 3 years, but i lost my original ring set, so this set i've had since last july. i had my last set redipped once before i lost them. i think it depends on what you do with them- if you take them off while cleaning ( i don't), or if you wash your hands a lot the soap can cause some problems ( i work at a school so i'm constantly washing my hands or using purell from the kids germs!). the place i took my last set to charged $10 to do both rings!... don't think its usually that low, though.
