Thank you, everyone! She ended up wearing it. In the end, when I did put it on her and looked at it again, it really just looked like a fancy holiday dress. I probably wouldn't buy for her myself, not only because of a slight Christmas motif, but also because I am really not a fan of black velvet on little girls, but hey, it's just sitting in the closet, might as well put it to good use!

I am Jewish and I see Christmas. Ive gone the silver or blue route for Chanukah.
