Jewish moms--another holiday card question!
If you are sending out photo holiday cards.. what is your DD or DS wearing? I have a blue and white dress that I was thinking of using for her, but I don't want to "overdo" the Jewish ness!!! Anyone?
BTW for those who responded to my post a few weeks ago about props, I found a cute stuffed dreidel and menorah at the Zion Lion in New Hyde Park.

My holiday cards for my daughter's first two years were both candids of her in everyday clothes. I like for the photo to capture what she was like that year, and to put her in a special dress would make her unrecognizable to me. hehe.

Great post!
I have been going on kiddie kandids and sears to look for anything Jewish and there is nothing. Ive also been looking for a navy dress and have been unsucessful at that as well. Some people posted the one at gymboree and while I think its okay...its still so not festive. I am unsure what i am looking for. Where did you find her dress?
I might also be bringing props with me to my appt.

Same thing here, we just took a picture that we thought was gorgeous.
I did Chanukah cards and seasons greetings, but I think that Seasons Greetings cards are often too Christmassy. This year I will just find something in between.

I got it a WHILE ago (maybe Aug or Sept) in Macy's.. the brand is first impressions. Its an off white long sleeved ribbed onesie, with a little navy blue jumper to wear over it. The jumper has a little pattern on it. Its cute, and if I can find a picture I'll post it. But I don't know if Macy's would still have it now.
