Job change & TTC?
Is anyone going through or thinking of going through a change of jobs while TTCing?
DH & I have been trying for a year and a half for baby #2 and have had no luck. There's nothing wrong with either of us according to blood work, HSG, sperm analysis, etc. To be honest I think a lot of it has to do with stress, my current work situation being one of them.
Of course, the idea of changing jobs and then getting PG is causing me to stress too. I think I just need to freaking relax about everything, but I just can't.
Is anyone going through this or know someone who has...changed jobs & then got PG?

Job change & TTC?
As much as I would like to change jobs and move up the ladder at a new firm (it won't happen here unless my boss keels over), I am not looking now because we are TTC. I have it pretty good here, nobody is watching a clock on me, I know they will be flexible with my time, I will have at least a partial paid maternity leave.
I get calls from head hunters monthly to see if I am interested in what they have, and I would be if not for the TTC...so frustrating!

Job change & TTC?
I changed jobs when we were ttc. Honestly, I wouldn't stop life when ttc. Even after I changed jobs it still took awhile and eventually medical intervention.

This! Never stop living because you are TTC. I put off a lot because we were TTC and looking back I wish I didn't because I still haven't done most of it.

Re: Job change & TTC?
It could take a long time to find a job, or you could get another one right away. If you aren't happy at your job, I'd look for a new one. Then, when you start a new job, you'd potentially just put off TTC for 3 months so if you got pg right away, you'd be at your new job for a year (most company's waiting period for full maternity benefits).

Re: Job change & TTC?
happened to me.. I was being transferred to a new position in a new location and we had been trying to get pregnant with #2 for a few months. I stopped trying around the time of transfer, and i wound up pregnant. I subsequently lost the baby, but go figure..prgnant at the least opportune time.. and by dates it happened exactly 4 days before the transfer. LOL.. sometimes that is life.. sadly it didnt work out, but still happened...best of luck whatever you decide.. btw- now trying again for number 2

While I always say never let events stop you from TTC. A job is different IMO. My company we didn't get any paid maternity until we have been there a year. Things like that would def play into my decision.
