job help - decision
Right now I work for a school district where I am paid hourly, i work three days where I have my own students then two days a week I sub and get a daily rate. I have been with the district for a few years and the work is steady and stable.
now i was offered a job in another district which is only.4 - this job is n a subject area not i am not teaching now plus it less hours to put in. Its actually my first teaching choice,
here are my concerns
i don't know if i should leave my current job for the new one.
i would be making less and i am not sure if this is only for a year or not as the school said they needed another teacher for the extra classes because of the increase in class size this school year. so the future is not certain. just confused . some pros are that i will get to teach what i enjoy, paid sick days and a salary

Not an easy decision. I don't think .4 would be enough to make me switch. If you think you have a shot at being permanent/full time one day in your current district I would stay. Also with the .4 is it everyday? If so you won't be able to sub anywhere and make up the money. Good luck!
