Quick question..

Say you applied for a job, and then the job called you.. you missed the call, and they didn't leave a message.. you know it's them cause you googled the number and it came up as the number to the company you applied for.. Would you call the number back? what would you say?

I'd call back and let them know you saw they called and you were so excited as you're very interested in the job.

My experience (as a hiring manager) has been that those that show sincere interest and eagerness get the interview and sometimes when the decision is up to 2 qualified candidates that same person gets the job.

The enthusiasm and eagerness to work for the company is what will make you memorable and will also show the employer that you'll give your all.

So call them. If the person answering the phone can't help you ask to speak to the recruiter and/or hiring manager. If that fails, no worries... be professional and say thanks for trying. Ask the person who answered the phone to take your info and pass it on -- express your interest in the job.

Good luck and don't worry if the above does not work... if they called once they will likely call again.
