Jogging Stroller Recommendations
Does anyone have an inexpensive jogging stroller to recommend? I was wondering if the cheaper ones hold up or if DS would be uncomfortable.
He is 20 months old, and we aren't planning on more children, so the time I use this will be limited. But I would really like to get more exercise in--I just don't have time to do good long walks lately, plus give him time to run around outside on his own. But a half hour jog would work.
TIA!

Re: Jogging Stroller Recommendations
If you don't want to spend a lot of money, I would check out Craigslist and get an expensive one that is gently used. They have a lot of good deals on Baby Jogger and BOB ones that are the performance models since some people buy them and never really use them. I love my Baby Jogger performance series for running. It handles the roads really well and is pretty comfortable for the girls. After using that to run, I wouldn't want to use any other kind. Its not really good for using anywhere else though, since it is pretty big folded and is not the easiest to fold.

Re: Jogging Stroller Recommendations
i have a used jeep liberty that I LOVE! I wish I got a jogger as my main stroller. i love that it has a swivel front wheel that can lock. IMO, only serious runners that go long distances should consider the fixed wheel. most of the swivel ones lock if you need it. the jeep has some nice shocks on it and the music on the move too. for an inexpensive jogger, it rocks! I use this one all the time now!

Re: Jogging Stroller Recommendations
I have a BOB Ironman which is a TRUE running stroller. If you are looking for a real jogging stroller you want one with a fixed wheel in the front not one that pivots. The ones that pivot are hybrid strollers and if you call BOB they will flat out tell you that the hybrid strollers(such as the revolution) are not true running strollers. The fixed wheel strollers glide a lot easier.
Sorry to babble on and on about the stroller, but with that all being said my Ironman was like 350 which I think was well worth it considering I use it at least 5 times a week.

Re: Jogging Stroller Recommendations
I have the Baby Trend jogger but I rarely use it and I have NEVER used it for jogging (pathetic).
I love the way it's so smooth and the wheels make it easy for DS to cruise along, but the angle of the reclining seat is too steep so DS always looks like he's struggligng to use the cup holders and snack tray. We use it for trips around our neighborhood and to the beach b/c the basket on the bottom is HUGE, but we can't take it anywhere else b/c when it's folded, it doesn't fit in the trunk of my Honda.
I would recommend you buy one from Craig's list or eBay -- you won't be using yours for long, as you said.

Thanks for the information! I always forget about Craig's List and ebay for some reason, but that's a good option since I won't be using this very long.
