Joining u ladies & a question
Hi everyone, I'm back on the pg board after having graduated to the parenting board only 6 months ago!   I'm looking forward to chatting with you ladies, as I've forgotten A LOT already!
I do have a question, though. Has anyone gone to the dr., thinking you were x number of weeks and days, only to find out you were off by a significant amount? I thought I was 7w6d, but I measured yesterday at 6w4d. We saw the heartbeat and it was strong, the dr. said, and he did his best to reassure me, but I can't help but worry, even though my ovulation date could have been off. Going back for a follow-up in 2 weeks, but I'll be a nervous wreck until then.

I was never good with keeping dates (i guess thats how i got here  )So i thought that i was later on than what I actually was. my dr likes to bring that up & takes caution with me.

It's totally normal to be off with your dating, it happens to lots of women, especially if you think you O'd one day but actually did a little later

Welcome back and congrats!
At my first appointment, I thought I was 8 weeks. Turns out I was 10w5d! I think I had miss calculated my last period because I never write it down anyways. But that was a big surprise!

welcome back!
yes, i thought I was 8.5 weeks at my first appt and they measured me to be 7w5d. It evened out later as they moved my EDD up 4 days
totally normal and happens ALL the time! Ovulation could have been later than you thought!

Definitely. When we went for our first sono, we thought we were 8 weeks (based on my last period and the idea that I was ovulating "on time") but we were really only 6 weeks.
