The more I hear about this individual, the more it's apparent that he doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as your brother. I'm glad he got the max but with the damage he's caused your brother, he deserves the chair!

Seven years is not nearly enough.

It is terrible, but I feel the same way! The truth is that he will be out in 3.5 for good behavior! Personally, I feel he should rot in prision!

I know for Danielle, the sentencing is a form of closure for your family. Now, life can move forward and your brother will continue to make the outrageous improvements in the weeks to come. He is so lucky to have a supportive family!

With the kind of felonies he has been found guilty of - the level of the felony says that he is not eligible for parole before six years. Now, since he is being sentenced to seven - that is seven years after "time served" which is just over a year. So, for him he won't be eligible for parole until he is ready to be released - in six years. That's a good thing - we don't have to worry about him being granted parole too early.

Thank God that judge saw the big picture! Although 7 yrs is no where near "justice" I am thrilled that this POS got the max!
