Jumping on the apple cider vinegar train
I recently bought into the coconut oil fad that everyone has been raving about. So far its been a week and I don't notice a difference in my skin or anything.
Yesterday I bought the Braggs apple cider vinegar which is supposed to have a ton of health related uses.
I drank a teaspoon of it straight and then this morning, mixed with water.
I kind of love these all natural food items for different uses but I wonder if they have "real" noticeable benefits.

I've wondered the same thing!
I keep meaning to get that apple cider but I forget about it every time I'm in the store.
Keep us posted!

Re: Jumping on the apple cider vinegar train
skin works on a 28 day cycle. 1 week isnt long enough.
theres no cure for anything. or quick fix etc. i keep a bottle of apple cider vinegar under my desk and chug it because i like vinegar. i havent noticed any difference and ive been doing it for years.
maintaing a healthy diet and regular exercise is key.
at least these are natural product that cant hurt you

Good to hear! That gives me hope.
I am also trying that Indian Clay mask stuff 2x a week and I bought organic raw honey to mix with lemon juice as a mask.
All these new fads I'm trying... well, keeps me off the streets

Re: Jumping on the apple cider vinegar train
My nurse cousin swears by unfiltered cider vinegar (with the mother) to help with her acid reflux. She says that it has helped tremendously and she does not need to pop her pills or tums anymore.
I have a bottle of the Braggs, but haven't taken it yet. For me, it is supposed to help with inflammation caused by arthritis, which I have in a lot of parts of my body. I can't take anti-inflammatory meds because they raise my BP too high.

Jumping on the apple cider vinegar train
I would be worried about straight Bragg's burning my esophagus. I always mix it with water and it's still hard to drink.

Re: Jumping on the apple cider vinegar train
I use ACV only when I feel like I'm coming down with something--mix it with raw honey and water. I feel that it helps nip the issue in the bud or shorten the duration of the sickness. I take it a few times a day when feeling icky. Not sure that I would drink it on an everyday basis--I try to eat healthy, exercise and take supplements. Highly recommend Vit D!

I mix ACV with the clay for my facial mask.
Also I use ACV when cooking. Make awesome salt and vinegar kale chips with it!

2 tablespoons a day. I will mix it with warm water and honey to make a tea. I don't want to take it straight, don't know if the acid would damage tooth enamel.
