Jury Duty question?
I just got a summons for jury duty and its the same week that i will be OOS 
i will be leaving on a thursday, so its not the whole week.. BUT i already postponed once, so thats out.
my number is A320.. is that low? if i get called in monday or tuesday i am fine with that.
can someone help me out , i am freaking out over this

Yes, 320 is pretty low. Depending on the case load, I would guess either Monday or Tuesday you'll be called in. I would call up and find out what they think you should do. You aren't the first person to have this problem.

ITA. Seems like a low number that will be called early in the week, possibly even Monday. I'd give them a call and ask...

you will get called monday. The first week of june I was number 900 something. I was called in on tuesday.

if u want to get out of it, bring a brown paper bag (small one used for lunches) and when you are in the jury box for questioning start hyperventilating into it. No need to get up and make excuses. They will let you go.

believe me, i want nothing to do with jury duty.. i would do that in a second..lol
besides i can't afford to be out of work... hopefully they don't want me!

I actually ahd a panic attack while I was there. Not on purpose. We were ina small room with no AC and it was really really crowded and i started hyperventilating. It wasn't fun.

I can't believe how many people have been getting called for Jury Duty lately. I know like 5 or 6 people just this month...me being one of them....
I have a high number...2,000 and something...since it is a short week I don't think I will be called....well at least hope...LOL

I am on standby for this week. For monday, they called numbers 1-150. I am in the 900's . I'll probably get called on friday, just in time to ruin the 3 day weekend my DH has

I had to report after lunch and was out within 45mins. They knew they weren't going to need us but called us anyway to get us in. Now I won't be called for 7 years (or whatever the number is now)!

I just got it too! Problem is I served in April 2008 under my married name, and just got a summons under my maiden name!! I sent an email to clarify the situation, but haven't heard back. My number is super-low, but I will be in Maryland the day I am due to report, so I don't know what to do.

i'm on telephone standby for the week of july 20th.. the prob is my job is per diem only get paid if my clients show up i can not survive on jury duty pay.. I don't know what to do my number is 558...if i get called in tues or frid days i don't work thats fine but if i get called in the others which are the day i make my money then im screwed!!! can i postpone??
