Have fun!!!! I served on a jury a couple of years ago. It was an interesting and really intense experience.

Re: Jury Duty Update

I loved Jury Duty. I thought I would have hated it but it was very interesting to actually sit on a jury.

My friend from work just sat for the Radio Shack murder trial. She said it was very interesting.

Good luck!

Re: Jury Duty Update

I actually think it would be really interesting to get called for jury duty. I got called once in college, but postponed b/c i wouldn't be home, and never got anything after that.

Have fun Don!

Re: Jury Duty Update -- UPDATE AT BOTTOM

well i am back

and after one day i was discharged -- i almost got myself involved in an negligent accident trial that would have booked me up for 2 weeks or so. It involved NYC as the defendant. Since my dad was a city employee for 30 years, they felt I could not be impartial and I was dismissed. Not eligible for six years

actually, flee, it DID

on my questionnaire, it asked if you had a close friend or relative that worked for a law firm. Well, of course I had check off yes!! That helped too Chat Icon

COOL Chat Icon

Too bad it didn't work for ME when I was called for jury duty a few years back.. even though I work for a lawfirm, they still picked me for a personal injury case!! I guess they just don't care about your 'connections' in Westchester County, they'll make ANYONE serve on Jury Duty Chat Icon

Re: Jury Duty Update -- UPDATE AT BOTTOM

it was funny because when the lawyers were introducing themselves, they named their firms, i was hoping they'd name yours so i could say i knew someone there and i'd be disqualified. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember the name of the firm Chat Icon
