I was thinking of maybe blogging, and was wondering how many do it on here....

I simply cannot imagine anyone else finding a need to read what I have to say. I can keep a private diary or blog if I wanted to express myself that badly on a day to day or otherwise consistent basis. For some reason, I find them (blogs) obnoxious. JMO.

Me too...I can see choosing not to blog but I don't understand the judgement that comes with it. I am sure a lot of people wouldn't understand posting to strangers on a message board but that's another topic...
I would like to blog but I haven't had time to start one up - I'll probably wait until this semester is over. But I would use a blog site, not LIF.

I agree.
some people actually make MONEY off their blogs.
for me, it's a way to just write- get creative- put it out there- whether people read it or not.
sometimes it's personal
sometimes (well, a lot of times) it's recipe reviews and cooking techniques.

I'll clarify my comment.
I think that if you're an expert in a specific field or have a wealth of knowledge on a specific topic...or have a deep passion for a specific topic, etc., then blogging makes sense.
But for me, I think of a blog as a diary. And my diary was very personal. I'd feel so helpless if someone found my diary/innermost thoughts.
I have no judgment...I just know no one would find my musings exciting...and honestly, unless it's on a topic that is of relevance or serious importance to me, I wouldn't read other blogs. No offense.

I like blogs and blogging. I'm nosy so I like to read what other people are up to. I had a blog on blogspot, but I can't remember the email I used or the password, so needless to say, I haven't added to it in a while.

I keep a blog under my LIF business account. I know a lot of lawyers who blog. Some lawyers subscribe to feeds for their websites but then it is not really their own blog. I am reading a book that is a spinoff of a blog that I read for a long time.
I have a lot that I would love to say on the blog when I find the time to write more in it. In this state of the economy, bankruptcy lawyers have several interesting observations. I'm not divulging any confidential client information and I never would. I am also not forcing anyone to read my blog. It gets enough hits that I want to keep at it even if not every day or every week.

We have a personal blog on our own website. It's for family and friends. It's mostly to keep them up with DD since we live OOS.
