Just found out my baby has no heartbeat
I'm having a D&C tomorrow - can someone explain what to expect and when I can start TTC again? I am trying to search things but just feeling super out of it and upset.

I'm so sorry.
The D&C is more emotionally difficult than anything else. You will get anesthesia so you will not be awake while the procedure is going on. I believe the procedure only takes about 20 minutes.
It's not painful at all. Everyone's different, but I had light spotting for about a week after the D&C.
Ask your doctor what his/her recommendation is for waiting time to TTC again. Some suggest 3 months, while others say you can try again after your first regular period.

I had a procedure in the office, no anesthesia or hospital for me but I was early on both times. 6 and 7 weeks. I'm not gunna lie it hurt but it was over fast.
I was told to wait one period to start trying again.

I'm so sorry  With my losses I was usually told to wait 2 months (the ones 8wks + )
Otherwise, one month was ok.
I know every doctor is different.

I am so sorry for your loss...its heartbreaking  I had three d&c's and the procedure itself was fine but emotionally it was really tough. i hope you did okay today.
