Just happy...kind of pregnancy related

I have my dissertation defense date scheduled for later this month and just applied for graduation. I'm due July, I was getting worried but getting closer to being relieved that baby will be here AFTER my PhD (knock on wood). They don't schedule a date unless its essentially a 'go'...and of course until I have the degree in hand I'll still be anxious because I'm paranoid but just SO happy to be doing this BEFORE baby!

I didn't relax until the whole thing was over, graduation ceremony included. I couldn't believe that after 7 years I was finally done. DONE!!

Your defense will be great and you will leave with a smile on your face and a sense of relief. Are you walking? I walked and it was such a big day for me and it was made such much better by the fact that my DS was there with me, cheering me on and saying "yay, Dr. Mama" Chat Icon

Yes you're right until it's ALL over, I won't be 100% completely relieved LOL. Yes I plan on walking in May (knock on wood), this is what I was really hoping to do before baby #2. Thanks for the encouragement! Chat Icon
