Just horrible...that's all I can say. WARNING: disturbing
My cousin sent me this forward with these pics of cats that may me stunned and want to cry.
Here's the e-mail:
Subject: CAT PAINTING
These are funny. Not funny "HA-HA", funny "WEIRD". For folks who love their cats a little too much. You are not going to believe this. There is definitely something wrong with these people!!!
The book these came from said some of the paint jobs cost $15,000 and had to be repeated every 3 months as the cat's hair grows out. Must be nice to have $60,000 a year just to keep your cat painted!
Can you believe that people would even consider doing this??? Maybe some would think this would look "cool", but I'm sorry, I think it's animal cruelty...look how close these chemicals come to these poor cat's eyes?
ETA: I don't think the images are viewable, so here is a link to where they are. May be disturbing to some people...I know it was to me.

Re: Just horrible...that's all I can say. WARNING: disturbing
I'm a true cat lover...but I have to say, this is far from the worst I've seen people do to cats. Wrong? Sure...
...but have you heard about what the do in China? They put newborn kittens into glass bottles, and feed them through a straw so that their bodies form to the shape of the bottle. Then, they break the bottle...but most die before that.
Not to mention how the cat fur trade is HUGE overseas, and they like to skin cats (and dogs) alive.
SO, while this is maybe not the greatest idea, I find it pretty tame compared to many other practices.

Ok, that one isn't true. But the other one is. My point being that painting your cat is probably not the worst thing you can do to them.
