Just some thoughts and I really hope I don't get ripped apart for this . . . .
It just saddens me how often posts will "cross the line" so to speak, on these boards.
I just feel like people will post their feelings or thoughts and aren't really looking for controversy, maybe just some "support" or "hugs." Maybe people are looking for "constructive criticism" and not flaming.
I wish that everyone could just learn to HONOR everyone else's feelings on here. ( I am not trying to sound cheesey, just honest.) It is a really crappy feeling to post something and then get ganged up on or totally torn to shreads- even if it is "just a message board to some," it is a "family" or "support system" to others.
I know for myself I do not initiate posts very often because I just don't want to have to deal with the nonsense that can arise- even from something that may be completely innocent.
I have met some amazing people on these boards and there are many more I have yet to meet that are amazing as well. I would hate anyone to get angry at this post, it is just something that has been on my mind lately.
I just wish that opinions can be expressed more kindly and that everyone could be able to have their feelings honored, not bashed.
There are so many things that go on in life that energies should be focused on, and IMO, being cruel to one another is not one of them.
I am sorry - I am getting off of my soap box now.
