I know it sounds silly, but we never call him Chris. In fact, he gets upset if somebody calls him that  . I'm sure that will change as he gets older and Chris will most likely become a regular nickname, but I would feel weird having just Chris on a necklace right now.

I actually have one of those necklaces with mine and DH's name on one plate and our wedding date on another. We purchased it from a store called Illusions in Sag Harbor. An artist Heather Moore makes them www.heathermoorejewelry.com, but she is pricey. The one I got was hammered sterling silver and I purchased the Heather Moore stones which were pretty inexpensive to put with it. We now live OOS, but the people at Illusions are great, and when we have our first DC (hopefully sooner rather than later  ), we will be adding another charm with DC's name and birth date and a birth stone. The charms were about $45 each.
Illusions is on Main St in Sag Harbor-# is 631.725.5871. The line I got was by a different designer which was a lot cheaper and I get compliments all the time on my necklace. The line is GKD (I do believe they have a website) and they can fit A LOT on the plate!
Those necklaces are incredible though!

it's so funny b/c i was looking at the necklace also, and my ds name is Christopher but we only call him that. dh is also Christopher, but everyone calls him chris, so it would be weird, lol.
