For mother's day, I'd like to share some thoughts about you all:

Please feel free to add your own, I'll probably be adding on as I go along, but I thought it would be nice to share some of my random, and not so random thoughts about some of the moms here. Here I go:
PSA: I'm horrible at remembering screen names, so forgive me if I mess them up!

Corinne:You're an amazing mom who is so down to earth. You take on so much and still are able to do it like a pro.

nycchic24(Noreen): You are also an amazing mom who is totally and utterly devoted to her little girl. I am grateful to have you in my life, and Megan is so lucky to have a great mommy.

danrdr10199(Dina): You are such a sweet and caring person. You are always ready and willing to help another mommy out, and that's so amazing to me.

Summerluvv(Summer): Although I don't actually know you, you seem like this amazingly strong, put-together and motivated mom. I love when you post about your kids, you're so positive, and that's uplifting.

KateDevine: You're so down to earth, and I love hearing you talk about Christopher. You just seem like a really strong woman and mother.

Moehick: Do I even need to tell you why you're great? I love how real you are, and the fact that you have a sense of humor about being a mom. That's so important to me, so to see that in another mom is really great.

Bxgel(I totally forget the rest of your screename Beth!): I look at you and see one of the most successful, well-put together mothers I "know". You know what it's like to have a "spirited" little girl, and I know I can count on you to be able to console me when Ava's little personality gets the best of me!



Ok, there is way more I want to write, but for the sake of getting the thread started, I think I'll leave it at this for now.

I just think everyone needs to know that they're wonderful moms, and so that's my gift to all of you!

I have to tell you that i love reading your stories about Ava, they always make me smile. I love how real you are about sharing your experience with PPD, it helps others who are dealing with PPD. It takes A LOT of courage to do that. I just wanted to let you know. You are a WONDERFUL mom, too.

I think you are an amazing mom, and I am totally and completely floored at the great stories you share about Ava. She is going to be president one day, and she'll have her mom to thank for it.

Well, first I am grateful to everyone on this site for all the advice, laughs, cute kids, etc. Happy Mother's Day to each of you...I can't really narrow it down...

However, to name someone specifically...I would like to thank Janice. I became a SAHM very reluctantly 1 year ago and I still struggle each day to some degree. Every time I read one of Janice's posts about being a SAHM, I feel so psyched up for the next day. She makes EVERY day with her son seem like the best day of her life and I'm trying to live my life like that...so, thank you for that Janice!!

I think you too are an amazing mother! I love reading your posts about Ava and you just seem like such a level-headed devoted mom

Kate, Kara, Donna, Lisa, Rachelle and Diana..you're all amazing mothers and I'm so glad that we've all become such a great support group for each other

And everyone else on this site is great too! I don't know what I would do without LIF! It's been a great learning resource for me and a great place to vent, share, bicker () and laugh

Racheeeee....speaking of sense of humor, you slay me, you really do. Sometimes I want to know how the hell you got in my head and if your staying can I charge you rent?

Marcie....We have been through it all together. I met you on TTC...we traveled to pregnancy and parenting together, I would be lost without you!

Flee....I am so grateful to have you in my life. You are an amazing woman. Thank you for allowing Animal and I to be part of Niko's life

Kelly...You are awesome! You are so real it is refreshing. You are an amazing woman who I can only hope my Animal will grow up to be like one day!

Deb...Your strength is amazing. You always help me put things in perspective...you are one of my dearest friends...I thank God you are in my life.

What a wonderful thread. I love how close each of you ladies are. I am a bit of a lurker - but I love coming here and reading about all the beautiful kids and the trials and tribulations of the wonderful moms. I love that nobody here is cookie cutter - but all of you are perfect in your own ways.

Nrthshgrl (Barb) and Carolinep24 are two moms who particuarly inspire me because they also have older boys and they are so REAL.

And I can't even begin to name the rest of the ladies who make me smile, shake my head and outright laugh so much of the time - because I would SINCERELY be here all day.. and I don't want anyone to feel left out because each one of you is amazing.

Paulette- I am so glad we have known one another and have a frIEndship that includes trust. You and I have been there for one another from college,to Disney to yelling at someone on the phone in Disney , to weddings to your dad, to babies. you are a dear freind and I should tell you more than I do.

amanda- a friendship that grew when we had our babies in the womb. you are so speical to me and I love your FM's and how postive you are

heather (hugbal)- you are an inspiration to everyone and a strong person. You are a teacher to everyone not just to me.

Jennifer-- i love the new friendship that is forming .. you make me smile and I enjoy your company and Gabriellas

Jola- We have a great frienship ... I am so happy I got to know you when planning my wedding and now having Olivia .. you are so sweet

Ive always been able to count on you girls for EVERYTHING. Your advice is always wonderful! I truly feel blessed that you girls are part of mine and Gillys life.

Other friends that I have a great connections with when we see one another at gtgs and miscellaneous stuff. etc..Katedevine, summerrluvv, lvdolphins, lipglossjunky73, prncss...Despite the fact that I see you girls from time to time, I value the advice you've given me and the friendships we have maintained.

What a great idea, and I would love to share too. But I wanted to say upfront that sometimes reading these posts you can feel "left out", so I just wanted to say to ALL mommies here that you are all a special bunch

Lori(Marie), Dee7772, DaniRN, MatteosMom - with out our seamingly weekly playdates GTG, I would not be able to get through the weeks with out you.... I am amazed at how our kids have become such good friends!!

Sumlynmad - what can I say - I think we're on the same page so much of the time.... You've made our nightly GTG's fun and its nice to share dinner with a friend (and the kids!)...

twinboys425 - we are -->thisclose<-- in having the same DH's You totally know how I feel some nights, and its nice to know I'm not alone!

-Lisa- - always nice to hang with and do playdates... It's fun to see our little girls grow up together!

Nrthshgrl (Barb) - her energy! her time, her willingness to give her all for anyone and everyone. She inspired me to get my DSLR, and one day I will actually take good pictures with it!

I just saw this... thank you I have to say, everyday is a struggle in my house, and there are many times when I doubt myself as a mom, particularly as a working mom, and this post helps me realize I should be less critical of myself.

And I have to agree prncs, this whole venue, particularly this board, is beyond inspiring. We have some of the kindest, truest ladies on here, like MrsR, Meltodjulia, AndreaLMT... some of the most brilliant and inspiring, like Nrthshrgrl, Shelly, and Taweezah, and then the ones like you, whose honesty and rawness is just so refreshing and comforting.

I'm a day late, but I hope everyone here was honored in their own way, whether it was as big as a gift from their DH, or as small as a little peck on the cheek from their DD or DS, because we ALL deserve it

Oh, yes, and how could I forget??? What would we ever do without our comic relief ladies? You know who I'm talking about!! Liza... Racheee?????!!

Chelle: So glad to get to know you…I think the world of you and your daughter. I swear I think that she and Lucas were separated at birth. Seeing her expressions and all that she does…it melts my heart in so many ways but most especially because she reminds me so much of my child…you are both so near to my heart. I am serious about the tattoo…you are so coming with me.

Bicosi: I would love to meet you! If ever there was a person I agreed with so much – it’s you! But you totally say it better than me. Thank you for all the support and encouragement you give me. Always there with a kind word and great advice!

Karag: I can’t even begin to thank you. It’s a special kind of person that jumps to someone’s side to help when they are in need…you do that for so many including myself. When I was beside myself with the pediatrician situation you came to my rescue…that means a lot and I am truly grateful.

Diana1215: Girl! I am so happy that we went through our pregnancies together and that we are now here on the parenting board together. You are such a genuinely good and caring person. We have to get these two boys together!

Thiadora: miss you! Daniel holds a special place in my heart because he’s such a amazing little boy and he was my son’s first friend. I am so happy that we had the chance to meet and words could never express how much I appreciate all that you did while the boys were in daycare together. To have someone to talk to and to check on your child…I can’t thank you enough.

JenBenMen: I love, love, love that we went through our pregnancies together. Feels like so long ago, right? You are such an amazing mom and I love that we are here on the parenting board together.

Hbugal: we have a special connection with those boys…who can tell them apart but us?

There are so many more and I am going to try to get back and add them but I have to go get little man up before he sleeps the day away and misses that crucial nap before picture. I can’t believe I am really going to wake him…yikes.

I think all the Mommys (and Daddys) on here are amazing and helpful in their own way. I love the helpful information, the stories, the pictures, even the vents. When I needed help with BFing after DD was born, I received so much wonderful information. It gave me the confidence and here we are, 7 months later, and still BFing!

I don't get to GTG's often so there are many of you I haven't met, but the ones that I have-I'm grateful to have met you and your DC and always look forward to meeting you for a nice walk or GTG!

I don't really "know" anyone from these boards in real life, and have only met 3.

InShock, Diana1215 & bayla-- our babies share the same birth date, so that's our special bond. It's nice to have other moms with babies the same age to be able to ask questions/look for advice. And it was fantastic meeting all of you and your little angels, and I look forward to more GTGs

So many other ladies on here have been so helpful with advice, suggestions, letting me vent...too many to name! I thank you all

MichelleMaBelle--we were friends throughout our pregnancies. We are often on the same page and I just think that you are one fantastic mom!!

neener1211(janine)-Your positive outlook on life is just refreshing. Although we have never met IRL I just think so much of you. Deep down I just know that everything is going to be perfect!!
