K research people who have Ikea Kitchens - ur kitchens rock!

And from what I have seen WOW such amazing looking kitchens. Went to the store today and was SO impressed with the quality. I am going to check out Lowes/Home Depot still but from what I have seen style wise and how well the kitchen samples are in mint condition after being abused on the floor makes me thing of doing the kitchen that way!

I mean we are buying a house that we plan on living in for a long time if not forever and if not, the cabinets come with a 25 year warranty and i figured since we are locked in anyway from selling for 10 years if we do the kitchen next year i think the return would be great for the area/cost.

Been reading blogs and reviews and it seems like the are very high rated cabinets. So if anyone has any words of wisdom about them or links to kitchen pics I would greatly appreciate it!

DH and i were there last night and we were droooling over the kitchens there! i think we will definitely be checking them out when it's time to do our kitchen. the only thing i wasn't sure of was the countertop prices, especially the granite.

yea i think i might go with a granite guy on 110 or 109 that i see advertising cheaper prices. Plus I didn't see anything I loved there as far as counter tops. The cabinets are just wow!

I just got my kitchen redone over the summer...everything is from Ikea (except for the backsplash). I put some pics in my album. I love the way it came out...everything is great so far! I know alot of people prefer to go with solid wood cabinets, but Ikea was the only way we would have been able to afford doing our kitchen any time soon. And I already knew a few people with Ikea kitchens, and they were happy with them, so that helped us make our decision. Definitely happy we went with it!

We have an Ikea ktichen and counter and LOVE it! The quality is outstanding, and you really cant beat the cost. Plus you can self install them REALLY easily since they go up on a track system and are self leveling, saving you tons in installment fees. Oh, and not delivery charges bc you go pick them up yourself.
