Ikea kitchens
Did anyone redo their kitchen with Ikea? Do you like the quality, and did you DIY or hire someone to install? Did anyone do it with a U shaped kitchen?
One of DH's co-workers said she redid her entire kitchen for less than 15k  with them!

we looked into doing it for the cabinets. I think the wood styles are very nice and the hardware is of excellent quality. There are tons of reviews and pictures online if you google Ikea kitchens. I really wanted a white kitchen though and the white cabinets looked so "fake" to me. Not sure how to describe it, but it bugged me. If I wanted to do a wood kitchen, we probably would have gone with ikea

there is a lot of IKEA kitchens on THS and I haven't seen anyone not happy.
personally, I think our next house's kitchen will be IKEA...we paid enough for our upgraded Kraftmaid and they were falling apart within a few months.

we most likely are going with ikea...i really, really like them...I am going to get one more quote tomorrow, then we'll have our decision.
FYI:They are offering I think 20% off kitchens at ikea...so even more of a savings

We did our Ikea cabinets & island for less than 4k. That included the hardware. Plus they were running a special at Ikea. Get a gift card for 10% of your total purchase. It was fun to have a $400 Ikea gift card. It was like free money 
The quartz counters were more than the cabinets. 
Many people ask me about not having a hood, but we have a Bosh cook top w/a down draft that pops up from the back.
All the details, paint, curtains, etc are not done, but you can see the cabinets.

My friend redid her kitchens and bathrooms with IKEA. They looked great -- much more expensive than what they cost her!!!
