Keep your fingers crossed!!! Update #1
I received an email about an opening in my home district for a position teaching the same classes I teach now.
I submitted my cover letter and resume yesterday...I know it is early but it would be wonderful to have a 2 min commute compared to a hour commute!
UPDATE #1 3/2
I got an email back asking when was a good time for an interview!!!! They are setting them up in the next month or so!!!
Keep those fingers crossed because it worked so far!!!!
