I heard to put tin foil in the crib to scare the cat from going back in...well i did that and my iddiot cat just walked all over the tin foil lol
Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Re: keep cats out of the crib
I am going to try putting balloons in the crib once it's delivered. I know they freak my cat out so hopefully they will do the trick.

Re: keeping cats out of the crib
Not a single thing worked for us. My cats felt that we put the crib there just for them, even when my daughter was in it So the only thing that worked was closing the door.

Re: keeping cats out of the crib
Our son's room is off-limits to our pets so we keep the door closed all the time.

They sell a mesh tent thing to put over the crib if you want. I'm just going to be closing the door though.
Heres a link to the tent: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/04/68/94/00/0004689400021_215X215.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.walmart.com/Tots-In-Mind-Crib-Tent/ip/6372421&usg=__yelJonWQWyUYgv26CLL7NcTw3yE=&h=215&w=215&sz=10&hl=en&start=9&um=1&tbnid=H289fTtezmbWKM:&tbnh=106&tbnw=106&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dcrib%2Btent%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1T4DKUS_enUS253US253%26sa%3DN%26um%3D1
Btw, my dumbas dog did the same thing when we put the foil on the couch to keep him off! He just laid on top of it like it wasnt even there!

Re: keeping cats out of the crib
I heard keeping balloons in it before the baby is here works bc the popping scares them.

Same here, DDs door is kept shut all the time so the cat does not go in.

Re: keeping cats out of the crib
My cats don't really like the crib...they LOVE sleeping on the changing pad instead
