Keeping warm at night

What do a duvet, a sleeping bag, and socks all have in common? They are all things to keep you warm at night, and none of them seem to work for my little boy. He takes his socks off, won't have the duvet over him and he will not tolerate the sleeping bag anymore.

So I need a solution for the winter. I know you are all going to say something like Fleece Blanket Sleepers. If you are going to say that, please tell me where I can get some nice ones for boys as my parents are coming over for Christmas and I might send them on a shopping trip.

TIA!

Walmart/Target has the blanket sleepers. I did not get them, they are polyester...the thought of it makes me itch, maybe it doesn't make you itchChat Icon

Wal-mart had some I also got the fleece/soft type PJs with feet at Target, Wal-mart and Macys-my DS won't do blankets all night either!
He seems to be doing well with the PJs (yeah I think they are maybe some synthetic material but he seems ok so I will take it-LOL!)Chat Icon

Love this movie!!!

Oh I have the same problem. Damien still won't sleep with a blanket and will pull his socks off any chance he gets. I always just keep putting a blanket back on him and he sleeps in really warm PJ's. I put his socks back on when he falls asleep too. He probably gets it from me I always sleep sockless and rarely use a blanket too.

Fleece footed PJ's?
Costco
Kohls
Carters
Target

That's what we use for winter.

Re: Keeping warm at night

Target sells the toddler sleep sack with opening for the feet. They are the Halo sleep sacks. That's what I use with my DD at night.

aidan wears fleece in the winter, the best I have found, meaning the thickest and warmest, and stays that way through a year of washing is LL Bean. Their pj's are awesome!

He has some footed, but has mostly moved on to the 2pc kind now

last year he would never keep a blanket on, so I felt that even if we started off the night with a blanket and he lost it during the night, he was still warm enough. Our house is on the cold side no matter what the thermostat says Chat Icon

on super cold, like below zero night I have put socks and light weight pj's underneath as another layer but 9 times out of 10 they were fine alone.

The Carter's ones are really soft. You can get them at BRU, Macy's, JCPenney, and the Carter's store.
