Danielle, I just read your update and I am in tears. My heart breaks for you & your family and I continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. You have such amazing strength and faith. Your brother and your family have not left my thoughts and prayers since I heard
I, too, unfortunately know what it's like to have a drunk driver hit a family member I can't imagine going through all of that with the media there every second as if you are under a microscope.
I hope you can gain some strength from those surrounding you and the fine officers of the NCPD, other depts and those individuals who are praying for your brother.

OMG this is your brother? My DH and I have been sick over this since hearing about it. I had no idea. I am so sorry....my heart and prayers go out to your brother and you and your family. I hope he keeps on doing better and better. I cannot imagine what your family is going through.

I hope your brother makes a full recovery. I saw the pic of the two of you dancing at your wedding. Just from his facial expression he looks like a great guy. I will pray that more people will be able to know him!

keep the prayers coming b/c he needs them now more than ever as he starts to fight the swelling and pressure in his head! we are hoping it will continue to go down, down, down, down!!!
also, the sooner he is better with that the sooner they can do the surgery to fix his broken pelvis.

I know you are trying to be the"rock" but sweetie please know it is ok to let go. i realized this when my friend for 2 weeks never left my side and i caught her crying for the first time and i told her it was ok to let go because it hurts you just as me. please take care of your self your brother will need you when he comes home and that also goes for you mom and dad too!!!!! my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family
