remember dani---don't overextend yourself---make sure you get rest! i know you want to stay there as much as possible....but make sure you take care of yourself too.
take long walks around the hospital and get fresh air...it will keep you sane!!
VERY good advice. Please be sure to take care of yourself.
Stepping out for fresh air will do wonders for you

Thanks for the update, Dani.  Remember to take care of yourself too, make sure you're eating and getting enough rest. Everyone can take turns being the rock, don't take it upon yourself to do it alone.
Continued prayers for your brother, it's good to hear that he's consistent.

I knew it would be after yesterday was just a "steady" day -- as long as we are moving forward or staying the same I'm fine! But today was great - the swelling went down SO much in his head b/c they sedated him a lot yesterday in order to allow the pressure to go down - and it worked! He has his features back - he looks fabulous!
One funny moment - I walked in to see him and they were just finishing up and well, they didn't have him as covered as he should be - Dear God this is my brother!  It was my first laugh (and  in a while!). LOL! The nurse got a kick out of it - definitely MORE than I should have seen 
This is the greatest news!!!! Sounds like he is really in good hands!
You are funny, you had me with this one "Dear God, this is my brother".
So happy to read this update!!!

It was so great to see this guy and this guy in your update this morning. So happy to hear he had a good day.
The scrap book is a fantastic idea. It will help him so much to understand what's been going on, once he wakes up. I'm sure he will be so greatful for having it.

great update each day is better.
I was hit by a drunk driver, ejected from my car and almost killed two weeks after my high school graduation. He (the drunk driver) was barely injured. Its not fair.

What a wonderful update It sounds like your brother is really being a fighter & is surrounded by so many Dr's & people that care so much about him
Definately take everyone's advice & make sure you care for yourself. Make sure you still eat, sleep & get outside of the hospital for a couple of moments....It will keep you sane

I'd much rather hear about his progress from you than any of the news media, even if they are trying to do right, I'd rather hear your personal stories about his progress.....
