Keratin vs. JHS?
My hair is naturally wavy and frizzy if left to dry on its own. Since having my son last year, it is falling out like crazy still and breaking. I feel like it is so thin & sparse. I want to get it cut short, like an inverted bob, but need it to be carefree since I won't be able to pull it back, and will need to "do" it every day. Thoughts?

they are 2 very different results.
JHS will make your hair pin straight. It will only be wavy again with new growth. SO you will need to get the roots done when it grows out.
Keratin is VERY temporary. It does not make your hair stright. It will take the frizz out and relax (for lack of a better word) your curls. I have had it done (with various brand and types) and it last no more than 3 months and even then its only great for a month or so. IMO expensive for such a short term fix. I started doing it myself since its not a difficult process.

If your hair is thin and breaking don't get the Japanese. It will damage further and it is ment for more thick hair. I did the Japanese for 7 years.it was great and no maintance and cheaper BUT after 7 years my hair felt"tired" if that makes sense and I was over the stick to my face flat. The texture of the regrowth is horrible, like fingerwaves.not fun. I get the karitan done every 3.5-4 months now, hair healthier, has some bounce now....
