Kid friendly places to eat...not "fast food" style
Not applebees or any of the chain places. I'd like to go out to eat tonight but I have my 4 year old DS. Any suggestions? I'm in Suffolk County.

Kid friendly places to eat...not
We like Emillios in Commack. Very good Italian food in basically a fancy pizzeria setting. It's noisy enough in there that I don't mind if DD isn't perfect. It gets busy though so there's usually a little wait.

What about a hibachi restaurant? I've seen lots of kids at the hibachi tables at sweet mandarin in sayville. They have great food, a nice atmosphere, and the hibachi cooks are louder than most 4 year olds anyway.

there is this place called oreilleys on main street in oakdale. not very well known, but really good food and drinks and very kid friendly. like a bar/restaurant but nice and big and a nice relaxed atmosphere.
