Kid Friendly Restaurant near rockefeller center?
I am looking for a kid friendly restaurant near the tree. We are planning to go in December but I would like to make reservations asap.

Mars 2112 SOOOO much fun, I can't wait to bring DS :)
There's also Serendipity but I'm not sure they take reservations, and the lines can be unreal that time of year!!!

I always suggest John's Pizza - it's a little walk from Rock Center
It's 44th between Broadway and 8th
But the pizzais amazing (they only serve pies), the atmosphere is great for kids (it's big and loud) and it's very inexpensive (IMO).
If you are looking for a "chain" there's a Famous Dave's on 47th between 6th & 7th. There is also Evergreen diner on 47th between 6th & 7th - if you are looking to eat somewhere quick.
I would look to eat a few blocks away from Rock Center - to get away from the crowds.
Any particular type of food you are looking for?

We are up for anything. I would like to avoid a chain because they usually don't take reservations.

Last year we did Heartland Brewery and it was way too crowded. Year before we did Apertivo on 3rd & 48th and it was great and not too crowded because it's a little further away from the touristy stuff. We did Morrell's the year before that but that was also crowded and less kid friendly.
