kid friendly restaurants?
Can anyone suggest a restaurant for lunch for 4 or 5 couples and their children (7 of them ) ages 7 months, 2 years, 1 year and maybe two 6 yr olds.
Now that I write this out it sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.
But any suggestions would be great. I'm in the east meadow area but anywhere nearby would be good.
TIA

Miller's Ale House.
It's loud, the kids meals come with a cute little ice cream. If you go on Tuesday nights I believe that Kids Eat free!
My son is also obsessed with the big fish that hang on the wall!

Re: kid friendly restaurants?
any of the chains really! - TGI Fridays, Chilis, Applebees (love that they have other options besides fries for their kids meals!-My kids had fresh pineapple and mandarin oranges the other night at Chilis!
I also agree Miller Ale House is fun! Bertucci's ("chain Italian")
Ive been to almost all the restaurants in this area with my kiddies- If I think of others I will come back and add!
Old Post with good suggestions as well!
I agree with Hibachi places..my kids are in a trance for the whole "show" There is Shiro on OCR and another one on Jericho Tpke off of Brush Hollow Rd

Re: kid friendly restaurants?
Texas Roadhouse!!!!
We were there and it was so loud, no one cared if DC were noisy. I looked around and everyone near us had at least 2 kids
They have a good kid's menu and it's super reasonable. It was like $30 for the four of us
It's my new fav place to take the kids!
ETA and it's close right on Hempstead Tpke by the Wantagh

I didn't even know we had one here on LI. We're going to have to check this out..
I was going to suggest that the chain restaurants are usually your best bet. My kids LOVE Friendly's, Chili's & Applebee's.
I really miss The Ground Round That was as kid friendly as you can get.

It's SO good and so kid friendly! It's one of the few places I actually relax since it's OK if they act up a little.
