I am wondering why they admitted it was fake...
clearly this was a disgusting thing to make up and they could easily get fired over it so it makes you wonder why they didn't just keep it going...I mean who's to say it WASN'T real, even if people thought it how could they prove it?
In any event the whole thing is disgusting

They got called out on it, and all of the obvious evidence did them in. How could they deny it?
More disturbing to me is that a large local news/media outlet would let this pass as a "true" story. Ridiculous.

What really sucks though is that while getting people's opinions last night for the News 12 story, a few people agreed with not exposing children to that "lifestyle". My DS is mixed race and I fear for what he'll encounter in his life
If anyone holds it against that sweet little boy of yours then you don't want them in your life anyway. People are ignorant, still to this day. DH and I are an interfaith marriage and people in his family stopped associating themselves with us because he married a Jewish woman. REALLY?!?! In 2014 this still happens?!?!? We just wrote them off and they no longer exist. We already said people like that will NEVER meet our son. I know to raise him better than that.
As for this story, I know that I must be SUPER niave reading people's responses but I did not know "obviously" it was fake. Sadly people like that actually exist in our world. I am embarassed to say I worked for this station for a year in promotion. I am SO happy I no longer work there and am associated with them after pulling such a stunt like this!
