Kids waking up in the middle of the night...
Is this normal?I feel like my DC take turns waking up in the middle of the night so I never get a full night sleep. But, is it normal that they would wake up so much? I can't imagine the whole world is getting as little sleep as I am.
Ex. Last night - 1 hr after I fall asleep DD (15 mos) is up and yelling (not cyring just yelling mommy, up up etc.) - I watch her in the monitor for about 5 min and she goes back to sleep. 1 hr after that DS (3.5) wakes up yelling (I have to pee pee) take him to pee pee put him back to sleep. 2 hrs later DS wakes up again crying for me seems to have had a bad dream or something I don't know. I lay down with him and he falls back to sleep and then I go back to sleep. 3 hrs later DS wakes up for the day (about 1.5 hrs earlier than usual). So now I have had like ZERO sleep.
Night before last - DS sleeps fine all through the night no problems. DD wakes up about 2 hrs after I went to sleep (about 3 in the morning) and I cannot get her to go back to sleep. I have no idea what is wrong with her. She just seems to be awake. Finally, so she won't wake up her brother and DH I take her downstairs to watch TV. 2 hrs later I put her back to sleep. Her brother wakes up for the day about 2 hours later (VERY early for him - like 2 hrs too early) again, I have no sleep.
Any advice? Every night is something to this effect!

My DD is 15 months and wakes several times. Sometimes she goes back on her own...most of the time not and I have to go in there! Im EXHAUSTED!

This is exactly how old my DD is. She was such a good sleeper until about 1.5 months ago she hardly ever woke up (only if she was cutting a tooth). Once she cut her last molar and was up for a few days she is now waking up in the middle of the night every other night! Luckily it is usually only once but, sometimes she won't go back to sleep for hours!
This is the big problem because my 3 ry old has always been a terrible sleeper but, at least when he would sleep I could sleep - now I have her waking up on the nights he doesn't

Same here! Got real bad after her 15 month shots like 2 weeks ago. So bad she would scream when it was bed or nap time- would not go to bed!! Last night she only woke once at 1AM cuz her binky fell out of the crib but for the fast few weeks its been the same, waking at 11, 1, 3, 5. She goes right back but its a pain getting up and disrupting my sleep!  Im with you!

Yep, my kids are 8 mos and 3 years and every night one of them wakes up in the middle of the night.

One of my sons still wakes up about 3-4 nights a wek-he is 2.5. They sleep in the same room, and the other never wakes up
