Kind of funny (Liza you'll appreciate this)
My daughter, Ariel, attends the Life Skills program at her high school. Essentially she spends a great deal of her day at Wilson Tech for vocational training. Im very very happy with the program and the choice we made to put her in it...
While at the high school she attends some academic classes and a life skills class. Her academic classes are geared to her abilities....(but please keep in mind that up until this year her curriculum was that of a typical student only modified)..
So she brings home 2 tests for me to sign...
One was a science test on Ecology. My DH (a middle school teacher) said it was a typical 8th grade quiz...on this test she got a 97% (way to go Ariel!!!)
The next test was a test that she took in her Life Skills class. Sadly she failed it miserably, getting most of the questions wrong....
What was the test on?
Body Language and Facial Expressions...
ETA: My daughter has Mosaic Down Syndrome and is classified as Autistic on her IEP. Of course she failed that test...
