kind of spinoff- kids only eating what family eats

DD is a picky eater.
I try to do what my mom and doc have suggested which is, "let her eat what you are eating. if she's hungry she'll eat."

well she's 2.5 and she rarely eats what we eat. the only thing she will eat is pasta. other than that, she wont touch what i cook and I cook 5 out of 7 nights. If she doesn't "like" it she just doesn't eat dinner. am i really helping her by doing this??? she doesn't seem starving and she doesn't ask for other food.

how can i help her not be so picky??

that's what we do. if they don't eat, they don't eat. i try to include at least one thing in the meal I know they like and will eat.
