kinda parenting related...when did your hair grow back pp?
holy balls of thunder....starting at about 14w pp i started shedding..now about 18pp and no end in sight... beyond alot..and i am a hairdresser and i know what normal shedding is lol when did your hair loss stop and start to come back in a bit? tia!!!

My hair loss stopped around 6mo pp maybe? But now at a year pp I'm starting to have crazy regrowth so my hair constanly looks frizzy from the newer short hair and it looks like I'm growing bangs  It's so crazy!!

It finally stopped about two weeks ago, I am 7.5 months PP. I thought it would never stop falling out!

I know it seems like a ton is coming out, but also know that you aren't really losing your hair.
My Dr explained that pregnancy hormones cause your hair's shedding cycle to slow down- so while you are pregnant you are actually holding onto more hair that you would normally have shed.
This is why a lot of people notice that their hair is much thicker and fuller while pregnant. Everyone thinks it's the prenatal vitamins- but it's actually the pregnancy hormones.
After you give birth, your hormones go back to normal, and you start shedding all that extra hair that your body held onto for 9 months.
Hence why you see so much coming out.
Mine stopped shedding excessively around 5 months PP

dd is 5 months and just in the last month I have had hair falling out in clumps. DH was seriously worried about me even though I said that it was normal PP.
I had hoped the thicker hair would stay since I didn't see this until 4 months pp. hope it stops SOON!!!

No answer for ya but you're not alone. My hair loss is unreal!!! And I have thin hair to begin with... The other day DH said that he's tired f taking my hair out of the drain and he shows it to me.... It was maybe like 10 strands worth, nothing. I take out a majority of it near the end of the shower. What he had was some stragglers tat i missed... So then I show him what I take out everyday and he could not believe it. It's gross and not to mention, it's near impossible to even get a comb through my hair... It has turned to sh*t and I'm so sick of it.

I don't remember but I do remember that my hair was incredibly full and healthy when I was pregnant and felt like I lost none at all during that time. So when I lost it pp I wasn't concerned. If it's been a really long time I'd go get a physical done and check out your bloodwork. Maybe you need some supplements.

I hear you. The hair loss thing is upsetting, feels like its never going to stop! then it looks horrible growing in  Like a year of bad hair
