kindergarten centers
anyone have any ideas for centers? it is literacy based. we already have a center where they manipulate letters to make words, another one where they write a letter, a listening center and a big book center.

what about letter of the day or week?
so, if the letter of the day is "A" you have a table with all "A" things - a container with plastic apples, apes, etc...

I've been attending a great workshop through Reading First that had great vocabulary center ideas... most of them came from the Florida Center for Reading Research...they have a website with hundreds of downloadable center ideas
