KK a lawyer ?
So, Kim Kardashian wants to become a lawyer.

Doesn't one have to got to school to study law, rather than only apprenticing at a firm ?
She plans on taking the bar exam in 2022.
These people are just too much  , yet like a train wreck, I can't stop watching.

You can take the bar if a law firm sponsors you. I thought it was for 5 years, but I could be wrong
No offense, but why is it bad that she wants to be a lawyer? Her father was one. And if she uses it, it's a legit job.

California is one of the few states that still allows this. NY used to, many years ago, but not any more. She still would have to actually pass the bar exam - not an easy feat, for sure.

I don't see anything wrong with it.
She isn't going to be able to use her star credibility to pass, so if she does pass it will be because she earned it and did it on her merit.

I'm not a huge fan of this family. But I agree with you.
From what I'm heard she's taking it very seriously. I say good for her if she can do it.

I didn't say it was bad. It just has me wondering.
She has a demanding husband, 4 young children, a very busy career and lifestyle. The firm is in San Fran, yet her home is near Los Angeles.
How much time can you really spend on your apprenticeship then, to learn the law ?
Whatever, it is her life. If she passes the bar, good for her.

I rarely follow celebrity gossip but I saw the buzzfeed article today. Apparently she met with trump and said she “wished she had more knowledge” about prison reform. She probably looked around the room and thought “holy sh!t I’m a genius” and decided to become a lawyer. To be fair, she likely was the smartest person at that meeting.
Good luck to her. The CA bar is the hardest in the country.

As much as Kim K and all the Kardashians annoy me, I do think she is very smart as a business woman. If she wants to do this why not? I just don’t think anyone will be able to take her seriously after all of her past antics....

I totally agree. I am NO fan of anyone in this family, but I don’t think they’re dummies. If she can pass the CA bar (generally considered the hardest in the country) then so be it.
