Knee pain for runners
So yesterday I didn't run. But while walking, I must have twisted something, because the back of my knee started bothering me. It wasn't really painful- just I "felt" my knee when I walk. So I hoped it would go away, but when I woke up this morning, I felt it again.
I am running a half marathon on 8/16 and I have been training. I don't want to skip one run this week (its a short run- 4 miles). But I don't know what to do. Of course I won't run today- but if it doesn't go away by tomorrow, I'm not sure what I should do.
Any advice?

Re: Knee pain for runners
I would try a knee brace, but maybe keep your runs to shorter distances this week. When you continue to run on an injured knee, you tend to favor it on the other legs which can create other injuries.
GL with the marathon!
PS also ice and elevate after your run

Personally I say take a day or two off. You don't want to make it worse right before the race. Good Luck and ice it. That always helps me.
