Lactose intolerant

if you are, what are your symptoms..

I've never been but I think I am now.

Lost of gastro discomfort, lots of gas, lots of burping...indigestion..

I had cereal yesterday and then later had some cottage cheese and then felt awful..spent 15 minutes in the bathroom!

I have crohns so that's not too unusual but this discomfort was not the norm for me.

I've been noticing the indigestion after dairy in general I think...

I have it, But not bad, If i eat to much cream soups I'll get this sharp pain in my stomach like cramps, than i get gassy, and after i go to the bathroom i'm fine.

If I have anything with dairy I get gassy and if I have creamy dairy products I get diahrea (sp?) Bad !!

i was so allergic to milk when i was younger that i could only drink soy milk from the time i was an infant.

now.....i can't even eat cereal with milk, if i have straight milk or too much cheese, i get so gassy, crampy, sharp pains in my stomach and diarrhea i have not eaten ice cream for a few months because of this. i think as i get older it is getting worse. the funny part is that i work in a GI office, so my doc gave me some medicine to calm down my stomach and i have felt fine the past few days. no more dairy for me

I think I am

I noticed if I eat too much cheese or dairy I get bloated and a doubled over stomach ache

but only at night
