DD was in daycare since right before she turned 2, and DS has been with a woman in her home since he was 11 weeks. I can honestly say that sometimes i would just do things differently. I didnt always agree with the way things went in the daycare center, but i always spoke up, called, and popped in when i felt i needed to. As she got older it was easier b/c she was able to tell me how things went. But really, no one can take care of them like their mom and dad. That was the sad part. I feel that no matter where you leave your children, it will have its pro's and cons. The good should always outway the bad and Safety is always #1. If you are leaving your current daycare b/c you feel your son isnt safe, than i wouldnt think twice about it. But i think moms always feel like its not "good enough" b/c we are guilty for having to leave them.

No, I always thought it was wonderful and never thought I would leave - but the teachers were all great for a while, and then a bunch left and things got crazy. I always spoke up!
I am fine with Cailen going to daycare. Its not in me to be a SAHM, and he chases me with his shoes if we don't leave the house to go somewhere on the weekends. I don't feel guilty for leaving him - I feel guilty for having to make this decision at this point, and continue to question if I'm doing the right thing even though my gut keeps telling me that change is always a good thing for anyone....
