Ladies we finally have an answer!!!
I switched peds today and Tyler has a touch of Pneumonia!!!! The doctor was so ****** that she calling the hospital and ripping them a new one! She said any baby that is under two with a fever that high should have been put on antibiotics. I am so glad we finally have an answer and my baby is on his way to recovery! I am so relieved but at the same time angry with the hospital and the old Ped. Thank you so much for all your prayers. You girls are the best.
About a half hour after I found out about Tyler I found out my DH’s grandfather passed away. I am beside myself right now. He never got to meet Tyler. He just turned 80 and his kids went to Florida for a long weekend to spend his bday with him and we couldn’t afford it. I told DH this would happen.

Oh JESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! I AM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR DH's GRANDFATHER!!!!!  But thank goodness this new ped got it right for Tyler!!!! What an AWFUL week for you!!!!!!

Glad you got answer and the DC is on the way to recovery. I would have wanted answers too with such fever.

Oh jess, I haven't been on the boards much this week so I didn't even know how sick Tyler was.. I'm so sorry... but glad you got some answers. Quick recovery for him 
And I'm sorry about your DH's grandfather

So sorry to hear your story but I am glad DS is on the road to recovery.
Pneumonia is so SCARY. DD had it last year at 3, and I know what you are going through. We also had a "mis diagnosis" and went through a lot before DD got better. Now I am so on top of the ped to make sure it never happens again.
You can fm if you have any ?'s about pneumonia or the recovery. It takes a while to completely go away but you should see an improvement w/in a few days on the antibiotics.
