OMG Ladies, DH and I have finally made the decision to.....
move off Long Island!!!
We have already contacted a realtor about selling our co-op and we will eventually be in the process of updating our resumes so we can send to school districts.
We are leaving LI to go up to Orange County/Ulster County to HOPEFULLY Pine Bush. We have friends there and we visit all the time and we just LOVE it there!
We decided that there is no way we can ever comfortably live on LI w/ these prices and taxes. Plus the traffic and congestion is just getting to us so much so... off we go!!!!
Im so excited!!!!!!!!

we're a little behind but hopefully should be up by harriman (woodbury outlets in Orange) within 2-3 years
its the best of all worlds, more space like the country, shopping centers like the island, and close for a train ride to the city
