Ladies who have done back to back fresh IVF cycles

I do not normally bruise very easily, however I'm on day 7 of stims and cannot get over how black and blue my stomach is! Is it possible that I'm just more sensitive to it now after starting a new cycle so quickly? I'm finding this to be the same with my bloodwork. I never bruise, or rather I very rarely bruise from bloodwork, but now I am, and I've had one bruise on my arm now for the past week. The same girl always ends up drawing my blood, but this hasn't happened before. I let my nurse know but she said she didn't think it was anything to worry about.

Has this happened to anyone else? They don't hurt, but man are they UGLY!

I'm not bruising, but I did notice that when i take the needle out I'm bleeding more than I have in the past. Nothing gushing or anything, but usually its a little dot on the gauze and last 2 days its a little more.

I haven't started my IVF yet...but the nurse told me last week not to freak out about the bruising that I will have...the hormones cause it to happen, not that you are doing anything wrong.

Funny you posted this, when we just did our 2nd fresh, my belly wasn't bad but the PIO in my butt did a doozy on me, and I remember thinking the same thing...I think maybe our bodies just started healing and the the spots are more sensitized maybe Chat Icon

Thanks ladies!

Yeah, that's what my nurse said. I've never been prone to bruising before and I stimmed for a long time last cycle and had not one bruise. I don't even bruise when they draw blood, but now is a whole other story!
